Constipation

There are a variety of causes for constipation including: poor diet and/or fluid intake, lack of exercise, stress, high pelvic floor muscle tone, poor pelvic floor muscle tone, rectocele, and medications.

Physical therapy can help  you to retrain your pelvic floor muscles, help with dietary changes, abdominal massage, relaxation techniques, and toileting techniques.
