Biomechanical Analysis

Physical therapists are expects in restoration of movement and function of the musculoskeletal system.  By observation and movement tests specific to problematic activities, the therapist can diagnosis poor movement patterns, and create a program to restore and integrate improved patterns.  Poor patterns are due to various causes including: diminished strength and flexibility, poor muscle recruitment patterns, poor coordination and balance, chronic postural habits, distraction, and altered body mapping post injury.  By honing in on your specific deficits the therapist will help you to recover more quickly and help to minimize reoccurrence in the future.
