Pelvic Fracture

A trauma or injury significant enough to fracture the bones of the pelvis, may also affect the muscles and fascia of the pelvis and hips, creating mal alignment of the pelvic joints.

Weakness resulting from limited activity and rest needed to heal your fracture can create muscular weakness and problems with balance.  Physical therapy can help to realign pelvic joints and restore optimal function to the pelvic, core, and hip muscles.  Modalities may also be used to help with inflammation and pain.
